Arkadiusz Kątny – classically trained composer, music producer, and performer who searches for space between classical and electronic music.
In 2021, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Arts in Musical Arts. His compositions have been performed in many countries in Europe, Asia, South America, and the USA. He is a laureate and finalist of international composition and marimba competitions in Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, and the USA. He has received many honorable mentions and scholarships, e.g. from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Rector of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Mayor of Wrocław, the Mayor and District Executive of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
His debut album, THE POINT OF NO RETURN, recorded on analog synthesizers, is coming later this year to digital platforms.
